A total of thirty-six projects have been submitted in response to the call for proposals for the Habitat Restoration and Protection funding. This impressive response includes projects throughout the tributaries of the Chehalis River. Proposed projects mainly aim to remove barriers to fish passage. Other projects aim to place large woody debris, realign channels, restore sections of the floodplain, and reduce bank erosion.
